Blizzard’s EU team were fantastically generous and wonderful hosts, and it was an excellent weekend altogether. The biggest highlight for me, and almost certainly for everyone else there, was that we got to play Hearthstone! We had about enough time for three full games, in a relaxed setting, but also with the Blizzard EU Community Team floating around to help us out and give us tips and input on how best to play. It was a fantastic surprise. So, what came out of that? Hearthstone Gameplay How was Hearthstone? First and foremost, what we got to play was an alpha, which only developers and internal staff had previously accessed. It has not changed a great deal in overall appearance since PAX, but many key gameplay changes have been incorporated.

I have just figured out a few things that have helped me win more matches. I started playing again last week and, no exaggerating, I went probably The tips below have helped me win about every other game. I have learned that board control is usually more important in the beginning. Board control is having more minions on the board than your opponent. It forces your opponent to spend more resources attacking your minions than attacking you.
However, you can build decks that focus on attacking the other player right away, but those need to be purposely built for that to achieve success. Often times doing this, the cards weren’t reaching there full potential. It is a smart move to make sure you have an idea of what you are going to do the following turn.
This well help prevent you from using cards that may be more useful down the line. I was not utilizing this, because I always used the “Suggest a Card” in the deck builder. If you want to build a really good deck, you have to learn more about the cards and build your own deck.

The grind based on the new draft system makes it nearly impossible to complete a collection of Legendary cards from drafting, and it is hard to keep your RNG stable for 4 games of draft in a row to get a Legendary card…even though I am pretty close to infinite i would rather lose tickets a few tickets and get more Legendaries on a 3 round draft than the current system. You seem to get more gameplay out of arena and can go infinite just as easily.
You only need to pull one of each Legendary and you can make pretty good tier 1 decks with just a few of the core Legendaries. There is quite a bit of skill involved in drafting with the mana curve and card draw, it takes awhile to get good at it to consistantly get to 7 with each class DoC is ok but with the card base being so large it is hard to get into it without spending a lot of time playing it or spending money, with solforge and hearthstone i do not see a reason to do so Celtia said I play a wide variety of dCCGs currently.
I know that I am, by a long, long way, not the intended audience for Hearthstone, largely because of that. Hearthstone, regardless of how many people complain about it, is the most successful dCCG ever seen that wasn’t based off an existing card game so discounting MTGO.

Sorry for this obnoxious title, but I feel like I had to get this out there to anybody experiencing this problem. What better way to do that than to be as obnoxious as possible? So, I have been struggling with stuttering and lagging after every in-game action I have made or my opponent has made for the past few months in Hearthstone. I honestly couldn’t figure out why it was happening and I couldn’t find the solution anywhere.
If this sounds like something you are experiencing, then here’s a solution that one wouldn’t expect whatsoever: It turns out that the problem actually has to do with Windows Defender. The HS Deck Tracker creates a log file in your HS folder that gets flagged by Windows Defender and it lags the game because it thinks that said file is malicious. You can fix this by excluding the HS folder in Windows Defender. If you think this could be the problem, but you aren’t sure, what you can do is temporarily turn off “Real-time protection” and enter a game of Hearthstone.
If you continue to have stutters and frame lag, I’m sorry, but this is almost definitely not the solution to your problem.

As previously reported , since around the middle of June, Legend players have regularly been queuing into matches against players well below their rank, including players who haven’t hit Legend themselves.
